If you’re anything like me, your Mac’s menu bar slowly turns into a crowded mess: Wi-Fi, battery, VPN, sound controls, calendar apps, and a dozen other utilities all fighting for space. defaults -currentHost write -globalDomain NSStatusItemSpacing -int 2 defaults -currentHost write -globalDomain NSStatusItemSelectionPadding -int 2 It basically squeezes the spacing between menu bar icons so you can fit way more stuff up there (honestly feels like 2x). If nothing happens, just run: killall ControlCenter and it should apply. |
