Most people face many situations where they need to make a decision: some small, some large. You may ask yourself, Today, do I want to eat porridge or something completely new and be a little adventurous. And then there are big, life-changing decisions like: Do I buy a house or should I rent? You usually default to the common/safe option. And that is perfectly reasonable in everyday life. Imagine your life taking the crazy, wild option each time. Sounds fun, but probably not realistic. But if we never take risks and look for fear, we don’t get the life experience - you risk making your life brand similar or the same as every other person around you. And brands are built by making decisions that are not always the best design. A watchmaker might make a watch that is bigger than necessary, which, by design, isn't ideal, but it builds their brand by taking a risk.
